Art Classes are offered for $7.00 per class for beginners and intermediate students and of any medium.

Cover to Cover Book Club meets monthly. Copies of the featured books are available for free.
Coffee Connection meets monthly and attendees enjoy a delicious free cup of coffee and fellowship.
Classy Crafters meets monthly in Lebanon and we also offer Zionsville Crafts. Both groups work on a variety of crafts and new ideas are welcome. Enjoy the fellowship and chance to meet new friends.
Insurance Information is provided by knowledgeable volunteers who can help older adults understand Medicare and Medicaid as well as sign up for a Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Plan. Appointments are scheduled as needed.
Legal Assistance is offered by local attorneys who are members of the Boone County Bar Association. This is a free service that gives simple legal advice. Arrangements can be made for more detailed legal assistance and to execute personalized documents, etc.
Lunch and Learn is a time to gather and socialize, meet new friends, share a meal and gather information that may be of interest to you or someone you know. Lunch and Learn is offered at both our Lebanon and Zionsville locations. All meals are NO COST. Space is limited and we ask that you contact BCSSI to register.
SHIP Counseling & CICOA Benefits are available by appointment to provide seniors with unbiased information about Medicare, Nursing Facilities, Emergency Response Systems, Benefits, Nutrition, Social Security, and more.
Tech Time offers independent instruction. Bring in your phones, tablets, eReaders, cameras or laptops or use one of our computers and get free instruction.
For many, the challenges of caring for a loved one are a part of daily life. Caregiving is a difficult and demanding job and no one is equipped to do it alone. Getting help is essential for your health, and your resilience is critical for your loved one.
A Caregiver Support Group is offered the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Independence Village Zionsville West (behind Meijer) 6800 Central Blvd Zionsville, IN 46077.
NEW…The Caregiver Navigator was created by BCSSI to be a launching point to being a better informed and organized Caregiver, it covers a wide range of information and details. Use this as your framework for gathering and organizing information to create your own Caregiver Binder.
BCSSI can help with many additional resources for caring for an older adult.

Friendly Visitor volunteers make regular visits to home bound seniors to offer friendship and support.
Visits are one day per week for a minimum of one hour and the visitor listens and assists the senior as needed.

The Personal Services program delivers quality services by trained staff.
Our certified Personal Service Attendants will assist with a number of in-home services. We supply light and general housekeeping, including sweeping, dusting, changing bed linens, and laundry. We will prepare meals and give medication reminders. We do grocery shopping and run errands. Our attendants are also trained to provide personal care with bathing, dressing, and grooming. The Personal Services program also provides respite care and guardianship. Our services are tailored to each individuals needs, with the goal of helping our customers remain independent in their homes.
Services are contingent on availability and program fees are billed on a sliding scale based on household income.
