Winners Announced in 11thAnnual
2025 BCSSI Art & Photography Contest
A record number of individuals – 31 in all – have their paintings and photography pieces on display at the Lebanon Public Library from April 23 through May 28, 2025, as part of the 11th Annual BCSSI (Boone County Senior Services Inc.) Art & Photography Contest which is being held in celebration of Older Americans’ Month, a tradition of recognizing the contributions and achievements of older Americans since 1963.
Winning entries this year are as follows:
Amateur Painting: 1st – Carole Reeves, Zionsville, 2nd – Lisa Foster, Lebanon, 3rd – Cathy VanArsdall, Lebanon and Honorable Mention – John Wilkins, Zionsville and Paula Hall, Lebanon
Advanced Painting: 1st – Dorothea Mickschl, Lebanon, 2nd – Kathy Leachman, Zionsville, 3rd – Deb Christian, Whitestown
Photography: 1st – Tracey Orstadt, Zionsville, 2nd – Brad Gray, Zionsville, 3rd – Mary Deater, Lebanon and Honorable Mention – Mary Lindner, Lebanon
BEST OF SHOW was awarded to Beth Hullinger of Lebanon for her Advanced Painting titled “Hayden & Chip”
