Fund Raisers
BCSSI hosts several fundraisers each year to support the agency’s mission. Fundraisers include selling elephant ears at the Country Market in Zionsville, hosting a Smelt Fry at Stookey’s Restaurant in Thorntown and an Annual Letter Writing Campaign requesting support from Boone County residents. The Fundraisers bring additional revenue to the agency so BCSSI can offer a variety of services to Boone County Seniors at a discounted rate.
BCSSI is currently selling engraved bricks for a newly created Walkway of Tribute located directly in front of the agency building. Commemorative bricks can be purchased for $32 each and include engraving. This is a special way to honor a mother, father or family member. Businesses can also purchase an engraved brick(s) with the business’s name. The bricks make a wonderful gift during the holiday season.
